Terms of Service
Last updated: May 23, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of pixellize.io and the free online tools, blog content, WordPress plugins, and related services offered by Pixellize (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Please read them carefully. By using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
What you are agreeing to: By accessing or using pixellize.io (including any tools, blog content, or WordPress plugins we publish), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service in full. This forms a binding agreement between you and Pixellize.
If it does not work for you: If any part of these Terms does not sit right with you, please do not use the site or services.
Changes we may make: We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or improvements. The latest version will always be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date.
How we will notify you: For material changes, we may show a prominent notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
2. Description of Our Services
What we offer: Pixellize provides free online tools that run primarily in your browser, including image editing utilities (resize, compress, format convert, background removal), PDF tools (compress, merge, split, convert, unlock), SEO checkers (meta tags, headings, sitemaps), developer utilities (JSON formatter, hash generator, CSS grid generator), and a small set of file and social tools. We also publish a blog with how-to guides and two WordPress plugins on the official WordPress.org directory.
Free access: Our tools are free to use with no signup, no daily limit, and no watermark on outputs. In the future, we may introduce optional premium features. The core functionality of every existing tool will remain accessible for free.
“As is” basis: Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we aim for reliable results, outputs may vary depending on inputs and technical factors. Please review tool outputs before using them for important purposes (legal filings, financial documents, official submissions). See our Disclaimer for more.
Availability: We strive to keep services available but do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or unexpected downtime may occur.
Evolution: We may modify, add, or discontinue services over time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes where possible.
3. No User Accounts
No registration required: Pixellize does not require users to create accounts or register to use the tools. Most features are available without sign-up.
No saved history: Since we do not offer accounts, we do not store personal profiles, user histories, or personal dashboards.
Future features: If we introduce optional account or login features in the future, we will update these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy before launching them.
4. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
Be respectful: Use Pixellize responsibly and legally. Prohibited activities include:
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
- Uploading malware, viruses, illegal files, or spam
- Attempting to hack, disrupt services, perform DDoS attacks, or engage in excessive scraping or bot activity
- Reselling or redistributing our services or outputs without permission

- Automating usage in a way that degrades service performance or bypasses fair usage limits
- Using our tools to process content you do not own or have permission to handle (such as copyrighted material or personal data of others without their consent)
Consequences: We may remove content, limit access, or permanently block users for violations.
Reporting: If you notice abuse or security issues, contact us at [email protected].
5. Intellectual Property Rights

Your inputs: Files processed by tools that run client-side never leave your browser. Files used in the small number of server-side tools are processed on temporary storage and deleted within one hour, with no copies kept and no backups retained.

We display ads: Pixellize displays advertisements through Google AdSense to fund the free tools and content on this site. Advertisements may appear in various positions on tool pages, blog posts, and listing pages.
How ads work: Google AdSense and its third-party partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to Pixellize and other sites on the Internet. The ads shown are selected by Google’s algorithms and do not represent endorsements by Pixellize.
Opt out of personalized ads: You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings, aboutads.info, or youronlinechoices.eu (for EU users). See our Cookie Policy for the full list of advertising cookies used and how to control them.
Third-party content: The content of advertisements is the responsibility of the advertisers. Pixellize does not endorse the products or services advertised. If you have a concern about a specific advertisement, you can report it via the AdChoices icon visible on Google-served ads.
8. Third-Party Integrations and Service Providers
External services: Pixellize relies on third-party providers for hosting, content delivery, analytics, advertising, and email. The current list of providers includes Hostinger (hosting), Cloudflare (CDN and security), Google Analytics 4 (anonymized analytics), and Google AdSense (advertising). Each is bound by a data processing agreement.
External links: Some pages may link to external websites for reference, documentation, or attribution. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites and recommend you review their terms and privacy policies before submitting any data to them.
Embedded content: Our blog posts may embed video, social media posts, or interactive content from third-party services (YouTube, Vimeo, X). These embeds may set their own cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.
