Do I need to install anything else?
No. Pixellize is fully self-contained, everything it needs is built in. Just drag it to your Applications folder and open it.
Which Macs are supported?
Both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, M3, M4), running macOS 11 or later. It is a universal app, so it runs natively on either.
It says “unidentified developer”, is that safe?
That is the standard macOS message for apps outside the App Store. The first time, right-click the app and choose Open, then Open. After that it opens normally with a double-click.
Can I download a whole playlist?
Yes. Paste a playlist link and every video is queued and downloaded one after another, each with its own progress.
Can I download audio only?
Yes. Switch the format to Audio and pick 128, 256 or 320 kbps MP3. Album art and song details are embedded automatically.
