Preview Every Social Card Before You Publish

A wrong Open Graph image can turn a launch post into an embarrassing low-resolution thumbnail across every platform. The checker pulls every meta tag and shows you the exact preview Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn will render.

Catch the missing image, broken description, or stale title before the post goes live, not after.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Open Graph meta tags and social sharing.

What are Open Graph tags?
Open Graph tags are HTML meta tags introduced by Facebook that control how a webpage appears when shared on social media. The most important are og:title (the link title), og:description (the summary text), and og:image (the thumbnail image shown with the share).
Why does my og:image not show on Facebook?
Facebook caches OG data aggressively. Even after fixing your tags, the old preview may persist for hours or days. Use the Facebook Sharing Debugger (developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/) to force a re-scrape. Also ensure your og:image URL is absolute, publicly accessible, and at least 200x200 pixels.
What is the recommended og:image size?
Facebook recommends 1200x630 pixels at a 1.91:1 aspect ratio for the best display across platforms. Minimum size is 200x200 pixels. Images smaller than 600x315 will display in a smaller format. JPG or PNG are both supported; keep file size under 8 MB.
Does this tool work for Twitter Card tags too?
Yes. The checker reads twitter:card, twitter:title, twitter:description, twitter:image, and twitter:site from the page. If Twitter Card tags are present they are shown in a separate section below the OG preview. Twitter falls back to OG tags when its own tags are absent.
