Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about viewing PDF files online.

Is there a file size limit?
No. Because the PDF is processed entirely in your browser, there is no server-side file size restriction. The practical limit depends on your device RAM. Large PDFs with hundreds of high-resolution pages may take longer to render.
Can I read password-protected PDFs?
Standard encrypted PDFs that require a password are not currently supported in the reader. For viewing encrypted PDFs, use Adobe Acrobat Reader or unlock the PDF first using our PDF Unlock tool.
What are the keyboard shortcuts?
Arrow Down or Page Down moves to the next page. Arrow Up or Page Up moves to the previous page. F toggles fullscreen mode. Escape exits fullscreen. Shortcuts are disabled when the page number input or zoom selector is focused.
Why does the page appear blurry on high-resolution screens?
On retina or high-DPI screens, increase the zoom level to 150% or 200% for sharper rendering. The viewer renders at the selected scale so higher zoom levels produce crisper output on high-density displays.
